Lapis Lazuli
A nice simple piece with lots of Pyrite and Calcite. Lapis is one of the of oldest rocks used for jewelry.
Another Lapis
Notice the large Pyrite band in the bottom left. Lapis jewelry has been found in many Egyptian burial sites as it was a favorite of the Pharos because of it's bright blue color and gold highlites.
More Lapis
This one is heavily speckeled with both minerals and a nice defining line of Calcite down the left side. There is even mention in the Bible of Lapis Jewelry.

Crazy Lace Agate
Beutiful piece with lots of red, white and gray swirls. High lustre and great shap make this an ideal pendant.
More Crazy Lace
This one shaped itself in the tumbler. Lots of gray, white and dark red. This one is a slightly larger piece but still very nice.

Chocolate Marble
Found only in British Columbia it is a favorite for jewelry. Marble is used in counter tops but this one is a little to dark to be popular. Many shades of brown and a very shiny finish.

Blue Mountian Picture Jasper
From the Lucky Strike Mine in Oregon. Very high lustre and a bunch of greens from almost black to lime. I have included the link to Luck Strike on the links page.

More Blue Mountain
This on features a most of the light greens found in this rock. I am told that up to 15 minerals make up this beutiful rock. Did I mention that camping is available for all you rock hounders at Lucky Strike. There rates and cost of purchase are very reasonable.

Bloodstone.
Nice colors and a great shine has made this one of new favorites to work with. Blood stone was used during ancient time to actually staunch the flow of blood. This particular stone is not available as it was made for Under the Moon, a local store in Port Coquitlam that is carrying some of my work. I will have more of it available soon.

Obicular Ocean Jasper
Most commonly from Madascar, this wondeful translucent stone can be found in many forms anywhere there are oceans and rocks. This one in particular I made for myself but I have 3-4 more cabs to be finished. I will post them as soon as they are.
